Centro ProLingua is one of the few language schools in Rome that incorporates the use of CD-ROM's with the courses taught by teachers. Our CD-ROM's allow the students to work on their own in a very systematic, effective and highly stimulating way. The language CD-ROM's which ProLingua uses permit the student to progress in the language they are studying in a gradual and independent manner. The student also has the possibility to repeat as often as he/she feels necessary the lessons that deal with the areas of the language they feel they're weakest in.

Each CD-ROM leads the student through a series of mini episodes regarding the language needed to communicate on a daily basis. The voices contained in these CD-ROM's are those of professional actors who speak in a very clear and defined manner, thus allowing the student to absorb each individual word spoken.

The student is able to interact with the CD-ROM through listening and reading the dialogue presented in each CD-ROM. The student is also able to record his/her own voice in order to compare it to the voice on the CD-ROM, to see if pronunciation is similar to that of the native speaker.

After following these CD-ROM's the student will then have the opportunity to practice the dialogue that they have learned through carefully structured role-playing with their teacher to make sure that they are able to use the new language in a natural and spontaneous fashion.

At the end of each session the program used by Centro ProLingua will provide the teacher with a printout which will automatically monitor and show the progress and problem areas of each student. In this way, the teacher will be able to guide the student in a personalized program, which will allow the student to obtain the best results possible.
